KINETICART.CONTROLS

KineticaRT Control components are Windows display controls used for presenting real-time data to the user and for user input of control data. They can be used on Windows Forms and within the KineticaRT Frame.

They take full advantage of the rich user interface features available in the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Both .NET and ActiveX versions of most components are available.

They can be embedded into all .NET and ActiveX container applications.

The KineticaRT Frame component can be used as a container for the other controls and allows runtime editing, runtime drag and drop selection of channels and loading of pre-configured displays.

WINDOWS FORMS CONTROL COMPONENTS

BarGraph

The KineticaRT BarGraph is a multi-threaded control displaying a configurable number of vertical bars each connected to a separate element in an analog array channel.

Button

The KineticaRT Button can be used to set the Boolean state of a channel using latched, auto-return or sticky modes. As well as appearing as a normal button, it can also be configured to be a checkbox or radio button.

Dial

The KineticaRT Dial is a multi-threaded control used for displaying real-time analog data.

Multi-Needle Dial

The KineticaRT Multi-Needle Dial is a multi-threaded control used for displaying a number of separate analog channels using rotating needles.

Display

The KineticaRT Display component is a multi-purpose multi-threaded object capable of displaying numerics, text and date formats. It is also capable of accepting and validating data entry.

Frame

The KineticaRT Frame Control is a container for other Controls. In addition to the standard container features, it provides runtime editing, loading of display layouts from configuration files and automatic resizing of displays.

Indicator

The KineticaRT Indicator Control displays the state of a channel by change of color. It is often used as a lamp to indicate the state of a digital channel but it may be configured with any number of states.

Knob

The KineticaRT Knob is a multi-threaded control which can act as an analog input or output control.

Picture

The KineticaRT Picture is a multi-threaded control that displays an image. The Value property can control color replacement, animation, and fill of an image region.

Slider

The KineticaRT Slider is a multi-threaded control which can act as an analog input or output control.

Multi-Needle Slider

The KineticaRT Multi-Needle Slider is a multi-threaded control which can act as an analog input or output control for a number of channels simultaneously.

Trend

The KineticaRT Trend is a multi-threaded control that displays the values of multiple channels on the traces of a scrolling chart.

XYGraph

The KineticaRT 2D XY Graph is a multi-threaded control that displays the values of multiple channels on the traces of an X-Y chart.
