The test run sequence, control setpoints and data logging and processing requirements are defined in a number of setup files. The following editors make it easy and quick for the operator to set up a new test run:  | Model Geometry editor with car plan and elevation - reducing chance of incorrect data entry | | Ride Map editor with safety check display - unsafe runs are inhibited | | Data Requirement editor - to define what is logged and at what rate | | Results editor - to define results processing and storage | |
Change reporting, from the "based on" run, makes it easier to keep track. Further editors are provided to allow the user to reconfigure the wind tunnel software: | Editors for expressions, variables, constants, thresholds and messages | | Sequence editor | | Display page layout and navigation editors | |
For setup files requiring less frequent modification any standard XML editor can be used. |
